The Most Powerful Man Living

The most powerful man LIVING, is the man that’s already DEAD.

Romans 12:1 says “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”

The most powerful man living is a man that understands that he must die to himself. It is beneficial to die to your desires that are not of God. Romans 12:1 talks about being a “living sacrifice”. What kind of power is afforded to a man that dies to himself? Spiritual power!

Romans 8:11 says “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” So the Word is telling you that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is in YOU! That’s POWER!!!!!

Notice that the latter portion of verse 11 says that He “that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” In other words, His Spirit, which is in you, is going to “quicken your mortal bodies”…That word “quicken” means to “make alive, to revive”. When you die to yourself, God’s Spirit makes you become alive in Him.

What happens when you die to self? In Romans 9, the Word says “For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.”

A testament is a person’s written directive regarding the distribution of their property after their death. For example, in life, if a person had a sum of money, their testament could direct the money to be distributed to his or her children after the person dies. So the scripture says that “a testament is of force after men are dead…” But here I’m not talking about you physically dying, I’m talking about you “dying to self”. When you “die to self”, your “testament” is “of force”, or in other words, your testament is enforced in the earth!

So the things that are in your spirit…the talents, the abilities, the gifts…are distributed to the beneficiaries after you “die to self”!!!!! Notice that the scripture says “For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.” So in order for your testament to be enforced in the earth, YOU, the testator, must of necessity, die to self. It is necessary to die to self so that the beneficiaries (the people assigned to your life), can access the things that God put in your spirit.

The scripture goes on to say “otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.” So if a person has not died to himself or herself, and they are still living for themselves, then the person’s testament is not being enforced in the earth as God desires.
